The article, entitled ‘Global Crisis Rewrites Education Rules’ focusses on a 2010 study of globally-recognised business schools in the US and Europe, and how the book, ‘Rethinking the MBA‘, by Srikant M Datar, David A Garvin and Patrick G Cullen suggests that the large majority of whom have failed to adapt their curricula to reflect the changes in the business landscape in the wake of the global financial crisis.

In his article printed in Gulf Business, Professor Scott draws parallels between the authors’ book, ‘Rethinking the MBA’ and its eight-point plan, and the curricula which formed – and continues to form – the core of Edinburgh Business School’s MBA programme during the 1980s.
