More MBA Graduates Than Ever Cross the Dubai Stage

The seventh annual Heriot-Watt Postgraduate Graduation ceremony in Dubai took place on Wednesday 21st November, 2012.

Among those present at the graduation ceremony was special guest, HH Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan, UAE Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research. HH Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan also gave a speech in which he praised Heriot-Watt University Dubai campus.

“The accomplishments of Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus over these seven years are remarkable and its graduates have contributed to the growth and development of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates”.

Mrs Shirin Jarrar, MBA Programme Director at Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus presented 37 Edinburgh Business School MBA awards, along with one MSc Marketing award to successful graduates, on behalf of the Head & Director of Edinburgh Business School, Professor Keith Lumsden. Graduates

travelled from Afghanistan, Egypt, India, Mauritius, Nigeria and Zambia to attend the graduation ceremony.

The event brought postgraduate students from seven schools across Heriot-Watt University together with University staff, including Principal & Vice Chancellor of Heriot-Watt University, Professor Steve Chapman, in the Safinah Ballroom, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai to receive their awards.
