On June 17 & 18, Edinburgh Business School and Heriot-Watt University welcomed over 280 new graduates and their families to Edinburgh as the graduates received their awards from Heriot-Watt Univeristy Chancellor, Dr Robert M Buchan.

Amongst those graduates receiving an award was Teresa Garnett (nèe Simpson), who had previously graduated from Heriot-Watt University some 32 years earlier, having successfully completed her first degree in Interpreting and Translating.

tgarnettTeresa, originally from Peterhead, Aberdeenshire but who now lives in the south of France, began her MBA studies with Edinburgh Business School in 2009 while living in Edinburgh. The flexibility of the MBA programme meant she continued her studies after moving to France. In addition to receiving her MBA during her return visit to Heriot-Watt University, she was also awarded the Edinburgh Business School prize, which is awarded to students who successfully complete the MBA programme with an average exam pass mark greater than 80%.

Edinburgh Business School would like to congratulate Teresa, and each of its new graduates on their achievements and wish them every success in their future careers.
