Edinburgh Business School MBA Program Launches in Jordan

Edinburgh Business School in JordanRepresentatives from Edinburgh Business School and EBS Arabworld attended an event organized by Al Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) to celebrate the launch of a new academic collaboration offering the MBA programme with teaching from both AAU and EBS faculty.

A ceremony was held at the Holiday Inn Hotel, on Wednesday 28th of September 2011, under the patronage of Dr. Sadeq Hamed, AAU President. Dr. Moira Storey, Director of Quality and Standards at EBS, Dr. Iain Henderson, Senior Teaching Fellow, EBS, Mrs. Marie-Betsy Sayegh Akl, CEO of EBS Arabworld, Ms. Nathalie Farah, Director of Student Services at EBS Arabworld attended the ceremony with Ms. Shifaa Chedid, Programme Coordinator at AAU.

In his speech, Dr. Sadeq Hamed welcomed the audience and participants in the programme Edinburgh Business School in Jordanand expressed his gratitude for the efforts made to support the successful launch of this programme. He also emphasized on the fact that AAU has endeavoured since its foundation to achieve its mission to maintain a level of excellence in teaching and learning in order to keep up with the latest international developments, to reach high quality outcomes, and meet the needs of Arabic and local communities for special teaching competencies.

After the welcoming speech, the EBS delegation which came especially to meet the students and those interested in the programme, gave a presentation on Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School and the MBA.
