On Friday 10th May 2013 we were delighted to welcome over 100 alumni, students and guests to an Edinburgh Business School cocktail reception at the Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong.

Another great opportunity for students and alumni in the region to meet and network with one another, form new business relationships and catch up with old friends.

Speakers included Professor Keith Lumsden, Founder and Academic Director of Edinburgh Business School, Alick Kitchin, Joint Head of School and Bassanio Tam, Edinburgh Business School’s alumni club ambassador in Hong Kong. Keith and Alick welcomed guests, some who had travelled from mainland China, Singapore and Malaysia. They officially welcomed our new approved learning partner in Hong Kong, HKU SPACE who recently started teaching the MBA programme and who Edinburgh Business School hopes to form a long and lasting relationship with.

Bassanio spoke of the importance of the alumni network in the region and how active the chapter was in holding a calendar of events throughout the year for both graduates and students to participate in. Members of the HK Watt Club had recently visited the Malaysia Watt Club to swap ideas and good practice.

The evening was spent in the company of wonderfully engaging guests, with beautiful views across Victoria Harbour and splendid food – what more could you wish for on a Friday night in Hong Kong!
